Our clearances are not back from the state! Our sweet and patient social worker is getting really frustrated because it's taking forever! I think that she really wanted us to be officially waiting by now. It's completely out of our hands. The agency checked with the state and they do have our stuff, they just haven't finished it.
Once our clearances come back, our homestudy has to be approved by a few people and then we pay our bill. Then we're officially waiting. And I'm ok with that. I'm not in a huge hurry. I have always thought that our baby is coming the first week of May. We'll see if I'm right.

Hi, I'm not sure how I found your blog but am in the same stage of the process. Our agency has our profile and the home study should be completed this week. I feel the same way you do, I'm not in a huge hurry but am starting to get really excited now that everything is turned in. I look forward to reading about your story.
